To announce the integration of Android more into Apple’s texting UI, Buck was tasked to create a few short films. Mine was about the inclusion of group chats adding which previously had meant a new chat had to be made, but now anyone with any device can be added at any time! For this shot, we did a little Houdini simulation for the confetti that was created by another artist, Hogan Williams, and I worked on the animation and compositing. I was able to do a little vellum simulation for this as well which I hadn’t done in a project yet.
