Color User Data Fun
I wanted to try playing with Color User Data inside of Redshift and found out it's a great tool for variation even if it's not just used for color. I'm still playing to gain more control of it but I was able to use only 3 textures in this animation using it. I added it to my diffuse color for all the colorful pegs and also hooked it up to the different image textures offsets to add some random variations to the diffuse of the wood and roughness of all my objects. Only tricky thing is the render doesn’t match the preview unless you user a Random Effector and a Random Field AND display that Effector Color. What a mouthful!
